We're ENGAGED!!!

I know, you're sitting there exclaiming that you didn't know I was even still alive, and here I pop up engaged. But things have been exceedingly busy, and I guess I've had other priorities...

Anyway, my fiancee and I went up to be with my parents for Christmas, and he asked me while we were there. In fact, he took me down to the waterfront the day before Christmas "to see the ocean before we left." Sounded a little suspicious to me, but I didn't think everything was set for him to ask (getting the ring, talking to Dad, etc). Turned out I was wrong, which was fine by me! So anyway... the big day is July 7. Can't wait!!
